A cart is released from rest at the top of an incline.  The acceleration is found from a velocity vs. time graph to be compared with the acceleration that can be found using dynamics. This is the Lab 6 Tier 3 Challenge Set-Up. This set-up presents an “error” in conducting the trial which affects the student’s result. The challenge is for the student to determine what Danny did wrong in conducting his trial and determining how the error impacted the results.
